Moving Meditations
for Families with Autism

- Take a break from stress and anxiety. Follow along with the
movements for the maximum effect or simply watch. New visual
and movement experiences promote calm and self-regulation.

- Developed by researchers at Dartmouth College for use by
children and their families. The app uses innovative methods that
support development of self-regulation and a sense of well-being.

- The 18 enjoyable short videos are designed to engage kids on the
Autism spectrum with special visual and auditory effects. Notice
the subtle shifts you feel inside as you watch the videos. Paying
attention to the shifts, supports development of self-regulation
skills.

-The aim is to gently educate the whole nervous system with skills needed for daily living.

- Great for families, classrooms, special needs educators,
homeschoolers and e-learners. Group practice may encourage an
atmosphere conducive to learning.

- The videos were inspired by the research of Dr. Louisa Silva, who
showed the very significant benefits of regular gentle tactile
movement therapy provided to kids with ASD and other
developmental challenges. Although not a substitute for hands on
treatment, our videos are designed to activate similar pathways in
the nervous system.
